Until there’s a cure, testing and prevention are two of the most powerful defenses we have in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Experts tell us that fear, limited resources or concerns about confidentiality can prevent people from getting tested. As a result, an estimated one third of the people living with HIV/AIDS are unaware they are infected.

By offering confidential, free-of-charge HIV testing and prevention services in central Indiana, along with trained case managers and counselors right on-site in a state-of-the-art facility with its own private entrance, it is my sincere hope that every person in our area will be empowered to get tested, and learn how to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS.

With free services and information available during convenient hours Monday through Saturday, it's now easier than ever to take advantage of the testing and prevention facilities at the Damien Center. Together, we can all help fight the spread of HIV/AIDS.

The Joseph F. Miller Center for HIV Testing and Prevention utilizes OraQuick® ADVANCE, an oral swab test that delivers results in about 20 minutes. The test is simple and painless.
